Phil Beer, one of the most celebrated figures in English folk and acoustic music, is back on the road this autumn with a full run of concerts stretching right through to December. Known for his spellbinding musicianship, soaring vocals, and an uncanny ability to connect with audiences, Phil’s performances are always something special. Whether you know him from his solo work, his much loved collaboration with Steve Knightley in Show of Hands, or his countless appearances with other folk greats, a night in Phil’s company is an experience to remember.
Armed with a rich catalogue of songs and stories from a lifetime on stage, Phil’s setlists blend traditional roots with original material, all delivered with the warmth and humour that have made him such a mainstay of the UK folk scene.
This year’s tour sees Phil play an array of intimate venues and folk clubs, with both Phil Beer Trio shows and solo performances on the calendar. Highlights include the Phil Beer Trio at Pavilions Teignmouth (8 October), a visit to the Cambridge Folk Club (14 November), and a special Midwinter Concert with Reg Meuross in Crewkerne (19 December).
